Porto

Beautiful mosaic tilled townhouse buildings, cobblestone streets and that ever-present vibe of Hogwarts ;). Porto is one of the most charming places, not too overcrowded and full of quaint shops, restaurants and bars that we thoroughly enjoyed finding. I took great pleasure in the fact that university students here looked much like those described in the Harry Potter series (cape and all), and I was delighted to be able to visit  Livraria Lello, the famous bookshop from which you can obviously tell Hogwarts was born. But the best thing about Porto definitely had to be the port. Visiting those port wine cellars, trying to look and sound as sophisticated as possible....until we reached the tasting portion of the (multiple) tours, where our true colours came out, and then sauntering back home in the winter downpour....priceless.

Rusty

Trying to get back into my old grooming habits....my nails have been unkempt for the past few months because travelling did not allow me to keep them pretty. You should have seen them upon my arrival home....urgh.

This is NYX Neutral with a red floral pattern :). Not bad, but I need to get the skills back into shape =S

Ummm.....Sorry?

I don't know what else to say! 3 months without blogging is quite horrific, for me at least. However, I can't say it was because I gave up, or because I didn't want to, or because I lost interest. Most certainly not. Ever since I got back many a friend has asked me "Sooooo when should we expect the next blog post?", and I haven't been able to answer because it's been so difficult to adjust back to regular non-traveling life (I think I'm still in post-travel depression, posting nothing but travel pics on Instagram =P). But, here I am, finally!

For those of you who have been following me on Instagram, you'd know I spent the most part of this year so far overseas, an incredible experience I'm so happy I'll finally be sharing with you all (as promised before!). I went overseas with every intention of keeping my blog up to date, however given that we had jam-packed our trip with as many places as we could, I really didn't get a chance to do anything but take a million photos and hope one day I'd get around to processing and showing a few of them to everyone. As a result, I will probably be doing the blogging equivalent of #latergrams for the rest of the year =P.

Hoping to get some new content up soon! Thank you for staying loyal readers!
