Top - Miss Shop | Skirt - ASOS | Boots - Kelsi Dagger | Coat - Karen Walker | Necklace - Diva | Watch - Michael Kors

I thought it would be nice to shoot in a different place other than my driveway this time, and I think I might try doing this more often! So nice to shoot with better lighting and more space. Although Sydney is not making it easy to make such impromptu decisions with the horrible never-ending downpour we're experiencing. However, we are well and truly into boot and coat season which gets my two thumbs up. I got these Kelsi Dagger beauties off eBay a couple of months ago and I'm in love. Loving the frill at the top, just adds a feminine touch, and the suede is so soft is slouches so nicely. And this Karen Walker coat from a couple of seasons ago has to be one of my most coveted pieces in my wardrobe. There just something about the brown herringbone that I fell in love with instantly - comfy luxe is what I call it.

With the change of location I thought it would be fun to experiment a bit so a couple of friends of mine came over to help shoot this one. I thought I'd include a couple of my favs from the ones they took - we used a reflector and it worked really well! Thanks Sam and Dilan =)

Stiletto Nails

Staying true to my word I re-did my nails over the weekend. I was also quite bored since Sydney is experiencing a massive deluge of rain at the moment, making it difficult to shoot outfits. So, I decided to file my nails to points - or stiletto nails as my bestie informed me they were called! I've actually been waiting for my nails to be long enough to do this so I was quite happy to turn them into these lethal weapons. I quite like them, and they are not as impractical as people might think, however mine aren't as long or pointy as some of the other ones out there.

I started off with a simple colour block nail-art this time using NYX Pistachio and Ulta3 Antique Copper. I'm looking forward to playing around with these ones. One thing - they do get blunt real easy!

Tshirt - ASOS | Shirt - Vera Moda | Jeans - Topshop | Wedges - Mango | Scarf - Accessorize | Beanie - Design Studio | Watch - Larsson & Jennings

Only the other day I was complaining emphatically that the weather wasn't cold enough to be winter. And today when I stepped outside to go to work I realised I still haven't learnt to keep my mouth shut. Twas also one of those days where my hair was one day shy of needing a wash, but still wasn't sitting how I wanted it to. Cue the beanie. I actually dressed around the fact that I needed to wear the beanie. I nabbed these buttery suede wedges a couple of years ago on sale and I swear they are the comfiest pair I own, leading me to wonder why I don't wear them more often. Really crushing on the chambray at the moment and this shirt from Vera Moda is just the right hue.

Leopard Chic

Top - David Lawrence | Skirt - Zara | Boots - Miss Selfridge | Clutch - Clare Vivier

I have leopard everything. Tops, jackets, scarves, shoes, boots, bags, watches. Except pants. But don't worry, I'm working on it. I find that most of my everyday outfits have some touch of leopard to them. So this bag from Clare Vivier is the perfect addition to my collection. Why? Because it is the quintessential clutch/purse. Simple, soft, malleable, contorts to just the right shape when you fill it, and the perfect size for all the crap we haul around (they do come in other sizes but I've linked the one to mine). Perfect for any occasion...where leopard print in suitable. Which is all the time for me. Best of all they come in a multitude of colours and textures. So I also grabbed one in pebbled black for the times when leopard might not (God forbid) suit the occasion.

My nails have gone into disrepair over the past few months and it's killing me. My nail decorating skills have also gone downhill, which is distressing! So I've resolved to change them AT LEAST every 2 weeks, to ensure I don't neglect neither nails nor skills. If I forget, PLEASE remind me! On another note, my nails have probably never been healthier since I started doing them less =P. Anyways, I got some new patterns over at Nailz Craze last week since I was dying to try the Butterfly nails since the pretty pictures of them proliferated over the net last year. They aren't the best but it's my first try and I actually got quite a few compliments for them. I did a cling/saran-wrap nail design using NYX My Sunshine and Ulta3 Mulberry (unfortunately again not my best). Then I did the butterfly pattern in black. Would love to try the holographic pattern that has been so popular with this design!

I think the ones on my right hand turned out better this time because I placed the pattern lower, but I didn't get any decent pics of them, so Instagram will have to suffice....

P.S. If you have any ideas/requests for my nails let me know! I've still got some my cousin suggested to me...

On A Chance

Top - Talulah | Skirt - Topshop | Heels - Diavolina

This time I have a VERY plausible excuse for the delay in posting! I've been busy catching up with Game of Thrones. I was quite far behind and I was determined to get ahead in time to watch the season finale with my friends on a special projector screen set up (those of you who are still catching up look away now!). I literally had no time to digest the Red Wedding scene as I finished it 10 minutes before watching the finale. Needless to say, I was in quite a state of shock. And now the 10 month wait for the next season to come out begins!

Moving on! I seem to be looking down alot in these pictures. I started to realise halfway through taking them that it was because of my hair. I'm not used to having my fringe that long so I look down to swing it away from my face. I have been stalking this gorgeous 'On a Chance' knit from Talulah ever since it came out. I was umming and ahhing about buying it because I wanted to try it on before purchasing, but I couldn't find anywhere nearby where they stocked it, so I thought I'd wait it out a bit. After I realised that all the extra smalls pretty much everywhere had sold out, I jumped on the next size small I came across (thank you Lovefox Boutique!). So glad I bought it, pretty much my favourite thing in my closet right know! It is the warmest knit I own by far and despite being a size bigger it still fits well. This skirt is a new purchase (although I can't find it on the Topshop site anymore!), I thought the stepped hem was a cute spin on a normal pencil skirt. And needless to say I'm in love with these ankle-flattering shoes!!

Jumper - American Apparel | Pants - Witchery | Shoes - Lipstick | Bag - Linea Pelle | Fedora - Yesstyle

I know, I know, I haven't posted anything substantial on here for a while now. I'm not gonna bore you with excuses but I'm sure you all understand, having busy lives of your own ;). I wore this jumper a couple of weeks ago in a post, and its so comfortable and just the right proportion of over-sized that it's hard not to wear with the weather we've been having. The pants are also slightly oversized, being a couple of sizes too big for myself which was intended. Such a nice coated denim, and my Mum added the zippers on the side for me since I couldn't find a pair of pants with them on already.
