Yes, another foodie post from Melbs! I know I know, when will they ever stop but I assure you there's only a couple more! We visited Red Spice Road before the girls headed back to Sydney and I to my cousins place. They actually have a couple of branches be we were pretty much down the road from the McKillop street branch so we just walked over. They serve up 'generic' Asian food, but it's more Thai than any other cuisine in my opinion (and I have no problem with that =P). We were lucky because the place was empty. Literally. So I'm not sure if we were lucky or if the place normally doesn't fill up on Sunday for lunch. The menu was pretty small, so again it made it easier to order. We were soooo hungry as we were recovering from the previous nights shenanigans, and we were happy that service was speedy.

There is one dish that REALLY stood out for me. The pork belly of course. Absolutely amazing. I was SO FULL by the end of the meal, but I pushed on because I couldn't not let this stuff go to waste. I googled the recipe as soon as I got back to Sydney because I NEED TO MAKE THIS.
The only thing I didn't like about this place was the communal dining set up. The room itself was gorgeous, really nice decor. But yeh. I'm not a big fan of huge communal tables with everyone sitting next to each other - it feels really intrusive and uncomfortable. I only go so far as sushi trains, but that's it =P.
